Nursery School Committee

The Nursery School Committee is made up of Temple members who assist in reviewing and revising the policies of the Temple Sinai Nursery School and work with the School's Director to evaluate and improve an already successful and popular pre-school program.
The committee examines enrollment trends with a goal of full enrollment and alters policy when necessary to streamline the registration process. In addition, the committee conducts fundraising events to purchase new school equipment and schedules special events which enrich the nursery school curriculum.
No bus transportation is provided directly through the nursery school, but the committee assists parents who wish to contract directly with a bus company and provides carpool information for parents who request it.
In the interest of maintaining objectivity within the committee, not all members are nursery school parents. We conduct four committee meetings every year. Two additional meetings are scheduled with an open invitation to parents who wish to share new ideas and get involved in fundraising and special events planning.
