Getting Involved
Chai Society of Temple Sinai
Ed Wolff, Chairperson
The Chai Society when originally formed was a social organization for the younger members of the Temple. However, over the years it has evolved into more than a group that just socializes together.
The members of the Chai Society are all involved in different areas of Temple Life. In addition to getting together for social occasions they run several functions that are open to all Temple Members.
Some of the events that the Chai Society has had are a wine tasting party, trips to Ellis Island and the Eldridge Street Temple, Progressive Dinners, Book Discussions, and Mystery Nights.
The Chai Society also hosts the Second Night Seder held at the Temple. We have had up to 200 families enjoy a wonderful catered Seder led by our Rabbi and Cantor.
If you are looking for interesting and fun evenings and at the same time are wanting to serve the
Temple, join the Chai society.
